Invisalign Reviews

Invisalign Reviews
Invisible Braces are one of the latest developments in cosmetic dentistry and it can produce supersonic results! For those that want to get straighter teeth without getting invasive and potentially damaging treatments such as caps should look no further.

Invisalign Reviews: Time

The other benefit of this amazing form of cosmetic dentistry is that the braces are invisible, so your vanity can remain in tact! From your Invisalign reviews we we estimate it should only take between six months and one year – ask your cosmetic dentist what he/she reckons as it depends on your teeth.

You can take them out when you eat and drink if it is more comfortable for you.

Invisalign can help you get the great smile you've always wanted because it's powerful in the same way that metal braces are, without the embarrassment of wearing the ‘old school style’. Finally cosmetic dentistry has caught up with fashion and understands that adults don’t want to look bad for a whole year to get a good smile!

Invisalign Reviews: How often do I need to wear 'em?

The only down side is that you need to be committed to having the braces in your mouth all of the time (except for when eating), rather than taking them out as you are able to. In order to get the best results, your cosmetic dentist should advise you to not mess with them so they can do the hard work.

Invisalign Reviews: The Price Tag

The only other bad news is the cost. At the moment this form of cosmetic dentistry can cost $3500 and upwards. However, consider the long term impact on your smile and confidence before proceeding. If you get offered a great financing package (low or no interest) which increasingly cosmetic dentists are offering for invisible braces then jump at it.

Invisalign Reviews: Get Started

You will begin by getting your cosmetic dentist to take dental impressions and photographs before sending them to his supplier who will perform a CT scan and then create a 3-D model which you will apply to your teeth. Invisalign invisible braces is not a messy or painful form of cosmetic dentistry so don’t be nervous.

Inivisalign - DON'T BOTHER!! I had a relatively 'straighforward' issue to correct and had already received orthodontic treatment as a teenager. My front tooth was protruding. In order to address this I had to have all the upper teeth moved back slightly to accomodate the tooth. Treatment continued to 4 years and remains incomplete. If you move country due to the significant length of treatment you have more costs.....Doctors don't want to know and Invisalign wash their hands. There is no central co-ordination or aftercare. All responsibility is laid at the 'Doctors' doors. Totally unsatisfied. I now face the cost of a completely 'new' treatment because there is no continuation. Doctors push this product because it costs more. Just forget the 'Invisability' and think about the benefits of finishing treatment in half the time and getting a better result!!! You might also have the benefit of getting a 'complete' treatment with these more traditional products.

Invisiline does work but what happens if you loose your last tray before you were done with the whole process? Well that's what happened to me & I was out of a tray for 4 days when I lost my last tray that I was wearing over the long weekend. Well my dentit's office people were all on vacation so I had to wait 4 days & when I went in to see the dentist my gap came back. It started as a hair line gap & now it's moving. I thought I was just about done before this happened & now my dentist is trying this thing where they slice the retainer & attach it with rubber bands to try to bring the teeth in but all it's doing is making things worse. I can feel my teeth moving & more gaps are forming. I've been wearing this sliced retainer for 4 weeks now & all my gaps are comming back. This really s***s. Not only have I had to wear this god damn invisiline for 3 years now but I also had to pay nearly $6,000.00 And for what?! All for nothing :( So I recommend if you're going to get invisiline please only see a dentist who will back it up with regular braces.

Dentistry is widely considered necessary for complete overall health. Those in the practice of dentistry are very helpful people. Dental transplant is one of the best practice and relief dentist diseases.

I find them hard to wear 22 hours a day. I like to drink coffee, but have to limit my time.

The only way for this product to work is to ensure THE DENTIST you get them from is good. Ask how many they have done, before and after pics. The product works - but only if your particular dentist gets your plan right. My dentist is brilliant and I am very happy. I have overcrowding and they are twisting strait and spacing out nicely. They have also widened the arch so that I have a wider smile - they wouldn't have done this with normal braces.

I would recommend using 'Retainerbrite' each morning when you take them out to keep them odor free and lovely and clean. I am on tray 7 from today of 12. They are brilliant. I am able to take them out when scuba diving etc. No body knows I have them in, unless I tell them 0 even then they have to have a REALLY close look. The first few days took a lot of getting used to, but now, I prefer to have them in than not. My teeth have moved steadily without really noticing. I would recommend.

I paid an orthodontist in Boulder 5000$ in full for Invisalign treatment but then I had to move. Dr will not reimburse me for incomplete work and Invisalign refuses to speak to me. They will only talk to the Dr who is keeping my money. I cannot continue treatment unless I pay additional 1000$.
The Invisalign program offers NO protection for the patient. End result: I paid 5000$ and my teeth are not straight. So I do not recommend this program.

I'm seventeen and I've had invisalign for about four months, and I'll only have them for six. I'm on my 8th tray out of 10! I LOVE invisalign, the only things that are con is brushing (but thats with braces too), and that smell after awhile. My results are looking great, everyone is noticing. If I had gotten braces I would have them for a year to a year and a half, six months seem better to me.
I love this, and if you can get this, DO IT. But, make sure the dentist sees you take off the first tray with no problem, the first day it is a pain and can hurt taking it out. Other then that, I've had literally like no pain.

Hope I helped.

Invisilign works great. I like them because they are removable and comfortable to wear. I highly recommend them to any adult needing braces.

Hi Dana, yes I experienced dry mouth, although the sensation reduced with time. My dentist told me that it a common 'complaint', although theoretically it shouldn't be the case because having something in one's mouth tends to increase saliva. He thought it was just the feel of plastic compared to the feel of one's teeth. Hopefully you'll find the sensation reduces with time. Good luck.

So far i've had invisalign for 1 week, and they are alot to get used to at first, especially the first 3 days. But the only annoying thing is that my mouth gets really dry with the aligners on, i dont know if anyone else has had this side effect, but i must drink 5+ bottles of water a day, which isn't necessarily a negative thing. and i definitely do not eat as much, so it's a great jump start to a diet! I have 2 spaces on my top teeth which is my main problem which i'm praying invisalign fixes! 1 week down, 33 weeks to go!

I'm half way through 21 uppper and 20 lower. Some straightening has happened, but i have reservations that all my front teath will be aligned at the end of the course - one of the top teeth seems way off. When I first wore the braces I nearly 'threw in the towel' - it was so painful and uncomfortable. In my view the retainer bumps are as unsightly as wearing normal braces. The aligners give me a bit of a lisp which affects my self confidence, and therefore when I'm at work and in social situations I leave them out. I don't think this makes any difference to their performance - by the end of the two weeks they feel quite loose which suggests to me that me teeth have moved as much as they should. I have an upper tooth wich has to move right over a lower one and I'm quite worried about how that's going to work and the effect on my bite afterwards. My dentist din't tell me that Invisalign advise only to dring cold water when wearing the aligners. I have not stopped drinking tea, coffee, wine etc. My dentist maintains that it's ok, although I do wonder if tea and coffee weaken teh plastic due to the heat. If I'd known what it was going to be like I would not have embarked on the treatment, but hopefully I wilbe pleased with the end result. At week 21, no matter what the result, I am stopping and will ask for the retainer bumps to be removed. I would advise someone not to have the treatment, but you should be aware it's like wearing a gumshield for a year. And if definitely isn't invisible. Good luck, Dave

I am on my 12th aligner (out of 30) and very impressed with the results until now. I had talking problem for first 2 days, but then it came to very normal. I am loving the aligners. It also controlled my eating pattern and I lost 10 lbs in 2 months without extra effort!

I am an orthodontist and would like to tell all patients to be aware. I have treated over 300 patients and have used this product for many years. The product is great in the hands of an orthodontist that knows what they are doing. There are many orthodontists and general dentists that don't have enough experience. I back up each one of my cases with FREE braces if I cannot get the results that were promised with Invisalign. Invisalign has a new marketing program on their website that directs you to the offices that are doing the most volume. It does not guarantee anything about the experience level or expertise. Their elite, premiere provider and preferred provider designations are only based on volume. They want to funnel cases to dentists that will slap Invisalign on any patient even if the case outcome is questionable. Make sure you ask your dentist how many cases he or she has personally treated and finished. Also ask about limitations of treatment and if they will finish the treatment for free with braces if you are not satisfied. Anyone confident in their abilities should be able to offer this. Good luck.

I do not recommend Invisalign braces to anyone. At first my treatment went alright. But after I was done, there was still gaps in between my teeth. So my dentist took another impression to see if they can close the gaps a little bit more. After waiting 2 months, my dentist just called me back and told me that they can't do anything about the gaps. I'm going down there at lunch time to talk to them about it. I feel that they promised me something that couldn't deliver. I feel like my dentist should've recommend traditional braces because he would know for sure that they worked!

ANSWER TO CAT:

Hey Cat, they do work, especially since your case isn't very severe. You take them off when you eat and drink. You don't have to brush your teeth before putting them back on after eating. I carry a little bottle of mouthwash (no alcohol content) and rinse my mouth every time I eat before putting them back on. When I wake up, I soak them in 1/2 a tablet of Polident sports guard bacteria cleanser. Beofre going to bed, I brush them with toothpaste. It's all very easy and simple. I highly recommend Invisaligns, but not for peple with severe teeth problems. In my case I had severe crowding and stuff and once the Invisaligns moved everything in place, the cahnge was so dramatic that I ended up with gaps all over. They were so wide that food would constantly get stuck in them and made them look brown and made the gaps look even bigger!

I started Invisaligns last April 2009. My bottom teeth had extreme crowding, and my upper teeth were not the same depth. I saw those gorgoeus pictures at the dentist office and decided to spring for the $6000 procedure. My crooked teeth had always bothered me. Whenever I looked at photos, my upper teeth looked like some of the teeth were missing. It is now January 2010 and I am still wearing them. I am in the "refinement" stage. The good thing about Invisaligns is that they don't finish until you are absoulutely satisfied. Did they straighten my teeth? Yes. But now there are huge gaps betweent he teeth that have moved. Also, they did not fix the problem with my upper teeth. My dentist says that Invisaligns cannot make my upper teeth look all the same depth. He says that it's a mistake of my former dentist who did my caps 20 years ago and made them too thick. Now he suggests that I get veneers for my 6 front teeth and that means I will have to fork out another $3000. Those pictures of people with straight teeth after using Invisaligns were amazing, and maybe I was naive, but I thought that after shelling out $6000 that my teeth would look lke theirs too. It would have been nice to know that my teeth would never look like theirs unless I fork out more money. Beware people!

age 45 had braces when i was 16 the orthodontist pushed my teeth in to far i did not where retainer after taking off braces. now 25 years later they kept moving and getting worse. now i have 1 tray left and it has been almost 1 year. i see some improvement but no where near a good smile . i can guarantee i am not even close to being done. i also want to add that i have attachments on everyone of my teeth and also rubber bands. this was never told to me until afterwards. anyway bottom line is they are not clear if you have attachments and rubber bands you always want to hide your smile. still not done

I'm on 3rd set of trays. Bottom teeth are crowded and top teeth are fairly straight. Will need to wear for 13 months on bottom and 3 months on top. So far so good. Trays hurt for first couple of days. Seem to be working fairly well. Bottom teeth are straightening out.

I am on my second day of invisalign. I had braces as a teenager. I only have some spacing issues, due to my teeth shifting. I am getting a total of 8 top trays and 10 bottom trays. My top sets don't cover my last molar. They have eliminated that tooth. Has anyone else had this? I am feeling some pressure. Other than that I am fine.
