Invisalign Reviews
Invisalign Reviews: Time
The other benefit of this amazing form of cosmetic dentistry is that the braces are invisible, so your vanity can remain in tact! From your Invisalign reviews we we estimate it should only take between six months and one year – ask your cosmetic dentist what he/she reckons as it depends on your teeth. You can take them out when you eat and drink if it is more comfortable for you.
Invisalign can help you get the great smile you've always wanted because it's powerful in the same way that metal braces are, without the embarrassment of wearing the ‘old school style’. Finally cosmetic dentistry has caught up with fashion and understands that adults don’t want to look bad for a whole year to get a good smile!
Invisalign Reviews: How often do I need to wear 'em?
The only down side is that you need to be committed to having the braces in your mouth all of the time (except for when eating), rather than taking them out as you are able to. In order to get the best results, your cosmetic dentist should advise you to not mess with them so they can do the hard work.Invisalign Reviews: The Price Tag
The only other bad news is the cost. At the moment this form of cosmetic dentistry can cost $3500 and upwards. However, consider the long term impact on your smile and confidence before proceeding. If you get offered a great financing package (low or no interest) which increasingly cosmetic dentists are offering for invisible braces then jump at it.Invisalign Reviews: Get Started
You will begin by getting your cosmetic dentist to take dental impressions and photographs before sending them to his supplier who will perform a CT scan and then create a 3-D model which you will apply to your teeth. Invisalign invisible braces is not a messy or painful form of cosmetic dentistry so don’t be nervous.

I am on my 12th aligner (out of 30) and very impressed with the results until now. I had talking problem for first 2 days, but then it came to very normal. I am loving the aligners. It also controlled my eating pattern and I lost 10 lbs in 2 months without extra effort!

I really want to get invisalign. I might get them too. I hate braces (on me)and i would like invisalign. The only bad thing is that my mom isnt so sure it works.I give her internet proof, but she isnt so sure + it is expensive. Any pros for invisalign that would help Persuade my mom? Please start with Dear Van:

I am an orthodontist and would like to tell all patients to be aware. I have treated over 300 patients and have used this product for many years. The product is great in the hands of an orthodontist that knows what they are doing. There are many orthodontists and general dentists that don't have enough experience. I back up each one of my cases with FREE braces if I cannot get the results that were promised with Invisalign. Invisalign has a new marketing program on their website that directs you to the offices that are doing the most volume. It does not guarantee anything about the experience level or expertise. Their elite, premiere provider and preferred provider designations are only based on volume. They want to funnel cases to dentists that will slap Invisalign on any patient even if the case outcome is questionable. Make sure you ask your dentist how many cases he or she has personally treated and finished. Also ask about limitations of treatment and if they will finish the treatment for free with braces if you are not satisfied. Anyone confident in their abilities should be able to offer this. Good luck.

I do not recommend Invisalign braces to anyone. At first my treatment went alright. But after I was done, there was still gaps in between my teeth. So my dentist took another impression to see if they can close the gaps a little bit more. After waiting 2 months, my dentist just called me back and told me that they can't do anything about the gaps. I'm going down there at lunch time to talk to them about it. I feel that they promised me something that couldn't deliver. I feel like my dentist should've recommend traditional braces because he would know for sure that they worked!

I started Invisaligns last April 2009. My bottom teeth had extreme crowding, and my upper teeth were not the same depth. I saw those gorgoeus pictures at the dentist office and decided to spring for the $6000 procedure. My crooked teeth had always bothered me. Whenever I looked at photos, my upper teeth looked like some of the teeth were missing. It is now January 2010 and I am still wearing them. I am in the "refinement" stage. The good thing about Invisaligns is that they don't finish until you are absoulutely satisfied. Did they straighten my teeth? Yes. But now there are huge gaps betweent he teeth that have moved. Also, they did not fix the problem with my upper teeth. My dentist says that Invisaligns cannot make my upper teeth look all the same depth. He says that it's a mistake of my former dentist who did my caps 20 years ago and made them too thick. Now he suggests that I get veneers for my 6 front teeth and that means I will have to fork out another $3000. Those pictures of people with straight teeth after using Invisaligns were amazing, and maybe I was naive, but I thought that after shelling out $6000 that my teeth would look lke theirs too. It would have been nice to know that my teeth would never look like theirs unless I fork out more money. Beware people!

age 45 had braces when i was 16 the orthodontist pushed my teeth in to far i did not where retainer after taking off braces. now 25 years later they kept moving and getting worse. now i have 1 tray left and it has been almost 1 year. i see some improvement but no where near a good smile . i can guarantee i am not even close to being done. i also want to add that i have attachments on everyone of my teeth and also rubber bands. this was never told to me until afterwards. anyway bottom line is they are not clear if you have attachments and rubber bands you always want to hide your smile. still not done

I'm on 3rd set of trays. Bottom teeth are crowded and top teeth are fairly straight. Will need to wear for 13 months on bottom and 3 months on top. So far so good. Trays hurt for first couple of days. Seem to be working fairly well. Bottom teeth are straightening out.

I am on my second day of invisalign. I had braces as a teenager. I only have some spacing issues, due to my teeth shifting. I am getting a total of 8 top trays and 10 bottom trays. My top sets don't cover my last molar. They have eliminated that tooth. Has anyone else had this? I am feeling some pressure. Other than that I am fine.

I had overlapping top front tooth which I had corrected when I was about 15, now I'm 27 and they moved back. Also slightly wonky bottom teeth. I got invisalign about a year ago. At the time I was told it was the most basic and easiest to treat problem and would be quick 6 month treatment. My teeth are still no where near straight. I've had 2 lots of refinement. My top wonky tooth is still coming out at an angle but isn't overlapping. My dentist wanted to fill it in to make it look straight! I did not agree and asked for more treatment. The costs are £3500. I have 3 top ones left, and one bottom one. They are still nowhere near straight and if I could go back in time I'd have train tracks again and save my money.

I have almost perfect teeth. No over/under bites, no crowding, no damage looking, almost all teeth are straight...except for the two teeth next to my two front teeth. One on each side. Those two are just a bit overlapping my two front teeth, and because of this i am forced to have somebody correct my mouth. I was hesitant, and hoping that my dad would forget it, but i knew that someday, i would need to correct my teeth. I didnt want to go through all the hassle of metal braces for just two teeth that will barely need alot of time. I especially didnt want to look goofy. Im not vain, but this year i was finally stepping up my image. And then i learned about Invisalign. I was so excited about the fact that i could eat WHATEVER i want, WHENEVER i want, and still look the way that i do. I read tons of review, and most of them were good. But then i came to thise site, and now im scared. I really dont want to have any problems, especially since my families a bit tight on money. Im also wondering, do you have to brush your teeth at school after eating lunch? If someone could post something on here with the first line saying..ANSWER TO CATI:.......i would realllly appreciate it.

Do NOT get invisaligns. They do seem to work well at first. However, two of my teeth receded into my gums and I am now in traditional braces after almost TWO YEARS in Invisaligns. Go with traditional!

WARNING: They work fine for most, and they're comfortable for most ... but for some people (Me!) they hurt like hell due to SHARP EDGES! I guess a lot depends on the quality of the impression but my tongue is always torn and scratched. I'm on my 8th tray. Buyer beware!

Dental emergencies don't happen too often, but if and when they do, immediate action.is often necessary. If you are in pain, this emergency dentist will aim to see you as soon as possible. emergency dentist often do it within an hour, but certainly within the day. Pretty rare for an emergency dentist in Sydney! Don't worry, emergency dentist is available almost any time, these guys are open evenings and even Sundays!

I am in my 3rd day of wearing my first set of trays. They are definately akward and a little painful at first but now in my 3rd day I feel more comfortable with them. It takes practice to get them out, it comes in time. The only thing bugging me right now is the bottom tray, it seems like the back seam of the tray is waaay far down near the base of my tounge..its rough and scratchy.

Did Not work for me at all on my top. On the bottom once done will all the sets my teeth were only fairly straight, not at all perfect like what you'd get from braces.

I was the perfect patient. I always wore the aligners, and I was fitted by an orthodontist. They did not work, and now I am wearing braces. I will probably have to wear the metal braces for 4 or 5 months, and that is after 3 sets of aligners - 29 in total, over a year of aligners for very little. Just wear the braces, that is where you end up anyway.

This is a good introduction to Invisalign, but there's much more info a potential candidate needs to know, such as being eligible for Invisalign, having teeth filed, getting extended treatment, etc.

definetely, I will not recommend invisalign, I had nothing but problems for the past two years and I will have to live with them for the rest of my life, my teeth are overlapping, by bit is off, can't close my jaws, wake-up with headaches, I have to put a piec of cloth in one side of my mouth when I go to sleep so it will be even with the other side. this costs me $5,000.00

I've been wearing them for 3 weeks now and I can tell already they are working. They especially work for spacing issues. Not heard much for people with crowding problems. A retainer was suggested after I am complete with invisalign but no braces. You will spend some time not only brushing your teeth but also the aligners but well worth it. Speach was back to normal within a day. I'd recomend them if affordable

I have been thinking about getting invisalign Braces, I had a consultation and was impressed until the othodontist told me at the end of treatment I still may need to wear fixed braces (train tracks) for 2-3 months, he said this is standard to tell patients this when using invisalign, did anyone else get told this?
